Blogger is a popular blogging platform for bloggers.
Blogger can be used by anyone to set up a nice looking blog with or without the knowledge of coding.

Blogger is free and available for use to the general public!
It's also very simple for an average person to work with bloggger.

To create your blog on blogger, blogger requires that you have a google account which you will use to login and create your new blog!

Because of the simplicity involved in creating blogs on blogger, most people may think that creating a blog is as easy as anything!

However, having a professional and eye-catching blog on blogger will need some little amount of commitment!

Base on that, there are  things you need to know as an enthusiastic web developer looking forward to start using blogger or let me assume you're experimenting with it already as a beginner!

Below I have compiled some few meaningful tips that every newbie developer should know about blogger.

1. Make your blogger blog responsive:

This is one of the most common issues faced by some newbie developers using blogger. When I say responsive, I mean that your blog should be able to adjust itself to screen devices without zooming.

I don't know for you, but you may have observed that after setting up your new blog on blogger, the result is not what you expected, the appearance of your blog on screen devices is heartbreaking, especially on mobile phones with small resolutions.

This happened because the templates provided by blogger are not always responsive.

What you need to do is search for responsive blogger templates on Google, download one and upload it to blogger.

One thing you can do also to solve this problem is to create media queries, this you can do easily and efficiently.

With media queries, you can simply target some Smartphones and mobile devices. You can do this by specifying the resolutions of the target devices.

For help and suggestions, you can also contact me.
It is important that your blog should be responsive, so your visitors will not have tough time surfing your blog.

2. Manage and summarise posts:

You may have observed how posts are displayed on your blog after writing them.
Blogger has this tool called post summary, with this tool you can summarise your post.

This allow you to choose if you want to show the the post headline and supporting texts or only the headline as you've seen on websites.

With blogger post summary you can insert break line at any point you wish to place your summary.
Check the picture below to locate the post summary tool.
